SCHEDULE + DETAILS
In order to comply with mandatory social distancing guidelines, volunteers will be assigned to specific time slots to arrive and pick up fish. You will be able to select the time frame (and hiking distance) based on your ticket selection.
Parking is limited at the trailhead, so volunteers will need to meet at the old Kinikinik General Store to check-in (see map below). Please arrive 10-20 minutes early to check-in and park.
Please Bring:
45L Backpack or bigger
Pants (you will be hiking over deadfall)
Water, snacks, lunch
Layers, rain jacket, leather gloves, etc.
Sturdy hiking boots (no sandals or wading boots)
Anything else you usually take to hike in the backcountry!

ABOUT
The Greenback Cutthroat was once thought to be extinct, but was found in a small section of stream in 2012. Since that time, agency partners, Trout Unlimited, other non-profit organizations, and volunteers (like you) have helped get these threatened fish back in their native habitat.
